About the Role

Join REI team as a Senior Accountant!

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a proactive and growth-focused environment? REI Development Services is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dedicated team, working closely with our client NetBet.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management: Oversee complete processes, including invoice tracking, PO issuance, and payment preparations.
Payment Processing: Manage and approve transactions to suppliers, authorities (ANAF), and other institutions.
Financial Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform bank reconciliations, supplier account reviews, expense monitoring, and prepare financial analyses and internal reports.
Compliance & Taxation: Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax declarations; ensure full compliance with Romanian tax regulations.
Client & Cross-Departmental Support: Issue invoices according to contracts, support revenue recognition, review client agreements, and manage VAT documentation.
HR Financial Data Management: Update payroll sheets and maintain related HR financial records.

requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Strong expertise in Romanian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAGA software is a plus.
Excellent analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ideally certified as a tax consultant or currently training with CECCAR.
