Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Consolidation

• Produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements across entities or business units.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to highlight financial performance, overspending, or inefficiencies.

Bookkeeping & Accounting Oversight

• Perform end-to-end accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, in collaboration with the senior accountant.
• Ensure adherence to Romanian accounting regulations and internal control policies.
• Support audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors.

Cost Management & Business Case Analysis

• Conduct cost estimation, pricing validation, and margin analysis.
• Support business case development for new initiatives, products, or services.
• Analyze financial data to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Commercial & Supplier Evaluation

• Review commercial offers and assist in negotiating supplier terms.
• Provide financial validation for contract terms and procurement strategies.
• Monitor and identify areas of cost overrun or poor ROI.

Forecasting & Budgeting

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support department heads in setting realistic financial targets and tracking performance and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial objectives.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities through variance analysis.
